End the nursing shortage

We are on a mission to end the nursing shortage by creating the best place to learn nursing via learner-focused education for all stages of the nursing journey.

Why NURSING.com

The world is facing a nursing shortage. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that 11 million nurses are required by 2030 to meet rising demand, with current projections showing a 569,700 deficit by 2024. According to The American Nurses Association (ANA), nursing employment opportunities will grow faster (15%) than all other occupations from 2016 through 2026.

Efforts to solve this shortage have been disjointed, and done little to reduce the problem. At NURSING.com, we are actively working to solve the nursing shortage by improving nursing education throughout the four stages of the nurse journey: pre-nursing, nursing student, NCLEX® prep, and new grad nursing.

In 2018, we launched the first version of our learning platform (NRSNG.com) after founder Jon Haws discovered through his blog that he was not alone in his struggle to become a nurse. The response was overwhelmingly positive.

In 2020, we changed our name to NURSING.com with a vision to become the trusted learning hub for potential nurses. Every day we hear from nursing students around the world who are discouraged and stressed. We believe in a world where these students enjoy higher graduation rates than their peers and become nurses who are motivated and passionate!
