  1. Cardiomyopathy
    1. Dilated Cardiomyopathy
      1. Treatment = Digoxin
    2. Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy
      1. AKA hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy
      2. AKA idiopathic hypertrophic subaortic stenosis
      3. Large ventricular septum
        1. Blocks filling of ventricle with blood = less cardiac output
        2. Treatment
          1. Beta-blocker
          2. Calcium channel blocker
          3. Decrease contractility to allow more fill
    3. Restrictive Cardiomyopathy
      1. Lower chambers of the ventricles are tight and do not expand properly as they fill with blood =so the chambers do not fill with enough blood
